We serve customers from our three locations in Victoria, Courtenay, and Surrey, which together carry one of Canada's largest inventories of water system products and accessories. We are looking for an energetic, hard-working individual to add to our inside sales team at our Courtenay branch.

We supply diverse, but related, industries around water treatment and movement including: Aquaculture, Commercial and Residential Swimming Pools, Hot Tubs, Fish Ponds, Fountains, Water Gardens, Lake Water and Lagoon Management, Irrigation, Water Treatment, Sump and Septic, Rainwater Harvesting, Well Water Systems, Landscape Lighting, and Fire Features.

Any industry knowledge is considered an asset, though on-the-job training will be provided for the right applicant. Previous sales experience is preferred. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, detail oriented, a team player, comfortable working with computers, and possesses good interpersonal and problem solving skills.

General duties may include:

Technical Sales Experience

Customer Service & Problem Solving Skills

(Essential)

Assist the public & contractors both in-person, via email, and over the phone.
Process sales orders, cash sales, returns, warranties, and special orders using Netsuite ERP
General warehouse duties including picking and shipping orders for customers (Must be able to lift 50 lbs.)
Valid Drivers Licence is a bonus
Attend a weekly training session to improve knowledge on company processes and products
Inform purchaser of special order items and inventory discrepancies
Create product displays in main store area & stock shelves behind the front counter

Being an employee at Van Isle Water means:
