Job Description

A Burnaby & Surrey Industrial & Construction Supply Company has an immediate opening for a self-motivated team player who thrives in a fast-paced environment. The individual we are looking for should have about one to two years of inside/counter sales experience. We are looking for a person that is service oriented, driven, and ambitious. Someone who is friendly and has a positive attitude is an absolute must! A competitive benefits package is offered after the successful completion of probationary period.

Daily duties consist of but are not limited to:

Answering inquiries via phone, and email Taking and processing quotes and orders via phone, and email Servicing existing accounts and helping to develop new accounts Supporting existing inside and outside sales staff Resolving customer problems and issues in a timely fashion Assisting walk-in clientele

Other Requirements:

Periodic knee bending, kneeling, and climbing

Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Ability to handle changing priorities and respond to change within a short time Ability to multi-task Strong customer service skills Quick learner with positive attitude - open to learn from everyone on the team

Qualifications:

Minimum two years of experience preferred

Minimum High School graduate preferred

Related sales and industry experience Computer skills with proficiency in MS Office and Windows Strong attention to detail Mathematical skills Cash handling experience preferred but not required Previous computer skills - training on POS system provided

Pay: From $24.40 per hour
