Position Summary:

As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be responsible for generating product and service orders from customers' inquiries. You will also assist in operations as required.

Key Responsibilities:

Receive incoming sales calls and customer inquires; Review customer requirements and inventory to provide timely and accurate responses; Document any order requirement exceptions taken and confirmed; Process timely detailed and accurate quotation responses to the customers; Follow up on quotes directly with customers or with the support of the outside sales team; Expedite orders to ensure customer delivery dates are achieved; Source and purchase buy-ins from suppliers that can meet customer requirements at the best cost while achieving the required quality level; Maintain excellent communications with internal departments, customers, and suppliers; Receive, pick, and ship products, as required; Deliver customer orders, as required; Continuously improve product knowledge; On-call schedule Some weekend work.

Qualifications

:

Sales Experience:

Field Store, Pipe, Flange, Valves, & Fitting and/or energy industry;

Operations Experience:

Shipping/receiving, manufacturing, warehouse distribution;

Industry Experience:

Mining, industrial, oil field, project supply, and/or fabrication industries;

Education:

Post-secondary degree/diploma in Business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or related field;

Valid Class 5 Driver's License

and Clean Driver's Abstract, required; Professional demeanor, selling style; Comfortable with technology in general, proficient in Microsoft Excel and experience with ERP software; Effective communication and negotiation skills in dealing with external and internal customers; Strong analytical, time management, and organizational skills; Ability to successfully pass a pre-employment medical evaluation and drug test.
