Inside Sales Representative
to join our West Edmonton team. This is a permanent full-time position.
Key Responsibilities:
Generate new and repeat sales by providing product and technical information in a timely manner
Determine customer requirements and expectations in order to recommend specific products and solutions
Recommend alternate products based on cost, availability and specifications
Present price, credit and terms in accordance with standard procedures
Accurately process a large number of customer transactions such as orders, quotes or returns
Provide accurate information regarding availability of in-stock items
Proactively recommend items needed by customers to increase customer satisfaction and improve transaction profitability
Educate customers about terminology, features and benefits of products in order to improve product related sales and customer satisfaction
Contact customers following sales to ensure ongoing customer satisfaction and resolve any potential customer issues
Processing of debit and credit payments
General clerical tasks including, but not limited to intercompany product requests and associated documentation
Core Competencies:
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Willing to train in a high paced, exciting, and challenging environment
Have superior communication skills including telephone aptitude, ability to interface with customers, suppliers and outside sales people
Demonstrate ability to work well with others
Energetic and outgoing
Have proven computer keyboarding and data entry skills
Proficiency with numbers, computer literate and familiar with MS Office
Education and Experience:
Inside Sales: Minimum 1 year sales experience and/or post-secondary accreditation in Business Administration, Sales, and Marketing
B2B sales experience preferred
