Role Overview
The Inside Sales Associate drives the top of the growth pipeline by executing high-volume outbound calling, rapid lead response, qualification, appointment booking, and maintaining complete Salesforce accuracy.
This role ensures every lead is contacted, engaged, advanced, and documented professionally while supporting Business Development Associates (BDAs) and leadership with clean data and consistent reporting.
Responsibilities
Daily
Make 50+ outbound calls to franchise and acquisition leads.
Respond to inbound leads same business day.
Qualify leads based on territory, criteria, and readiness.
Book and confirm discovery calls (email, text, phone).
Maintain 100% Salesforce accuracy on statuses, notes, tasks, next steps, and contact information.
Clean duplicates, correct categorization, and ensure proper follow-up tasks.
Submit daily report summarizing calls, connections, appointments, conversions, objections, lost reasons, new leads, and pipeline movement.
Weekly
Participate in weekly pipeline review with leadership.
Produce weekly dashboard: conversion rates, activity, appointments, objections, new leads, lost reasons, and pipeline velocity.
Join weekly training for call review, objection handling, discovery question refinement, and script improvement.
Update SOPs, messaging, and objection-handling tools based on learnings.
Monthly
Prepare Monthly Sales & Funnel Report: closed deals, funnel trends, conversion rates, activity metrics, appointment ratios, forecast movement, and pipeline health.
Conduct monthly Salesforce audit and recommend improvements (fields, naming conventions, layouts, automations).
Support onboarding and coaching of BDAs or new hires on CRM hygiene and follow-up discipline.
Re-engage dormant or "not ready" leads through targeted reactivation plans.
