Summary

Slegg Building Materials is seeking a Inside Contract Sales - Roofing associate to join our team. This position is Full-Time and the shifts are Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm with a Saturday rotation schedule. The wage range is $23 - $32.23 per hour. Our Extended Health & Dental benefits start after 3 months.

The Responsibilities

• Act as an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers
• Maintain an emphasis on a safety culture, customer service, and efficiency as a top priorities
• Project quotes, enter delivery orders, place special orders, and assist in purchasing
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs, follow up on deliveries, and awareness of project timeline to foresee material needs
• Maintaining merchandising standards in designated areas
• Attend sales team meetings as needed
• Be a source of knowledge on Roofing and building envelope materials
• Take pride in your work environment keeping your desk area clean and presentable
• Respect and obey safety policies and procedures in our yard and on jobsites
• All other duties as directed by management

The Requirements

• A broad knowledge of roofing supplies is necessary
• Available to work a variety of hours including weekends on occasion
• Sales experience an asset
• Competitive spirit and results driven
• Computer Skills required
• Able to multi-task and prioritize
• Self-motivated and detail orientated

The Location - Nanaimo, 4950 Jordan Ave.
