Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching and tutoring, particularly in subjects such as English, French, IELTS, ESL, Singapore math, and Junior debater. You will work with students from G1 to G12 (online or on-site) in one-on-one or smaller groups, plan lessons based on the Ontario curriculum, and take on responsibilities for students' development.
Qualifications
Knowledge of Ontario Provincial-based curriculum and exams*
Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in various subjects, focusing on student needs. Assess students' strengths and weaknesses to develop personalized learning plans. Passion for teaching, consulting, and mentoring students. Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to both students and parents. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance. Experience in a teaching environment is a strong asset.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
