My French Tutors is looking for kind, reliable, fun and engaging tutors - who also have a knack for teaching.We are looking for Ottawa-area-based (this includes areas like Barrhaven, the Glebe, Nepean, Kanata, etc.) university students or educators to help students with their French journey. This includes various core curriculum subjects including math, science, reading, etc. (In French of course!)The hours are part-time and consist of mostly after-school, early evenings, and optional weekends. This means you choose the days and times that work best for you and your schedule. Plus, you can choose the subjects you're most comfortable teaching.We currently offer tutoring online, but we are expanding into the in-person realm come September 2022. This means a successful candidate will have both reliable internet for training and tutoring AND a reliable mode of transportation to students' homes.Successful applicants will be required to provide a Vulnerable Sector Check.PLEASE READ: Developing relationships with students is essential - because of this we are looking for longterm tutors. We are NOT looking for individuals looking for temporary work or seasonal only.Succesful applicants must:

• Have a knack for teaching
• Fluent in French and English
• Patient and kind
• Proficient in Zoom
• Experience working with children and/or teens
• Available evenings
• Strong and reliable internet
• Be willing to travel
