Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and experience working with children. This role involves teaching French language skills to students, fostering a love for the language, and enhancing their communication abilities. The French Teacher will create an engaging learning environment that supports the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements.

Duties

Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and cater to various learning styles. Teach French language skills, including speaking, listening, reading, and writing, to students of different age groups. Utilize effective classroom management techniques to maintain a positive learning atmosphere. Assess student progress and provide feedback to students and parents regarding their performance. Incorporate technology and Learning Management Systems (LMS) into lessons to enhance student engagement. Collaborate with other educators to support students' overall educational development. Provide tutoring support for students needing additional assistance in mastering the French language. Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with teaching methodologies and educational trends.

Experience

Bachelor's degree in Education or a related field; specialization in French or foreign languages is preferred. Proven experience in early childhood education or classroom teaching, particularly with children. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage students effectively. Familiarity with special education practices is a plus, enabling the teacher to adapt lessons for diverse learners. Experience in proofreading educational materials and creating instructional resources is desirable. Previous tutoring experience is advantageous for providing personalized support to students.
