We are seeking a passionate and dedicated French Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will inspire and guide students to develop a love for reading, writing, speaking, listening and critical thinking. This role involves creating engaging lesson plans, fostering a positive learning environment, and assessing student progress to ensure academic success.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive lesson plans that align with curriculum standards. Teach students in grade K-8, focusing on improving their French language skills including reading, writing, speaking, grammar, and literature analysis. Create a supportive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration. Assess student performance through assignments, tests, and projects, providing constructive feedback. Adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles and abilities. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and academic progress. Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student performance and behavior. Organize extracurricular activities such as reading challenges, storytelling sessions, or public speaking workshops. Encourage students to participate in writing contests or community events to practice their skills. Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills.

Skills

Strong knowledge of English language arts curriculum and instructional strategies. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Ability to engage students and foster a love for learning. Strong organizational skills with attention to detail. Proficient in using technology for teaching purposes (e.g., digital learning tools). Patience and adaptability in addressing diverse student needs. Experience in classroom management techniques.
