POSITION SUMMARY:

The Innovation & Partnerships Analyst plays a vital role in stakeholder engagement, administrative coordination, and innovation project support at The Research Institute of St. Joe's Hamilton (RSJH) and St. Joseph's Healthcare Hamilton (SJHH). Reporting to the Manager, Innovation & Partnerships, the Analyst is responsible for coordinating stakeholder relationships, supporting innovation-related projects, and leading administrative tasks that contribute to the success of innovation initiatives.


The Research Institute of St. Joe's Hamilton fosters a culture of innovation that connects research, entrepreneurship, and healthcare to drive meaningful change. The Analyst will be instrumental in building relationships with industry partners, academic collaborators, and internal hospital teams, supporting the development of transformative healthcare solutions. The incumbent will support the Innovation and Partnerships team to increase innovation and partnership activity, and seek out new opportunities that enhance the reputation of both SJHH and RSJH.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Stakeholder engagement Support

• Support Manager, Innovation and partnerships on administrative tasks, schedule meetings, send out agendas, capture stakeholder meeting minutes and update progress reports in support of innovation and commercialization
• Maintain database of stakeholder engagement opportunities
• Distribute quarterly updates to key stakeholders
Marketing and Event Coordination

• Work closely with the Research Communications team at RSJH to develop content for the new RSJH website, specifically focused on innovation and partnerships.
• Support the execution of entrepreneurial and innovation programs, such as The Clinic @ St. Joe's, managing event logistics, participant engagement, and stakeholder involvement.
• Assist in planning and executing innovation-focused events, workshops, and bootcamps, ensuring smooth coordination and stakeholder participation.
• Track project milestones and compile progress reports on innovation initiatives for internal and external stakeholder
Analytics Support

• Perform or coordinate data pulls and analysis of aggregate data from relevant databases to support in innovation activities.
• Prepare reports and visualizations for internal and external stakeholders, summarizing key findings from data analysis.
• Track and monitor metrics related to commercialization efforts, partnership engagements, and innovation outcomes.
QUALIFiCATIONS & SKILLS

• Minimum 2 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, project coordination, or data analysis, , preferably in healthcare, research, or innovation environments.
• Bachelor's degree in a related field (business, life sciences, biomedical engineering, healthcare administration, data analytics, or a related discipline).
• Proven ability to engage and communicate effectively with external partners, industry stakeholders, and internal teams.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint), Canva and experience with CRM or project management tools is an asset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to draft reports, emails, and presentations professionally.
• Ability to work independently, follow instructions, and collaborate within a team-driven environment.
• Passion for healthcare innovation and partnership development.
