Position: Injection Molding Maintenance Technician
Location: Montreal
Salary: Flexible according to experienceOur client is seeking an experienced Injection Molding Maintenance Technician to join a dynamic team. If you have a strong background in servicing plastic injection molds, are familiar with valve gated molds and hot runner systems, and have at least 5 years of experience, we invite you to apply.As an Injection Molding Maintenance Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficiency and reliability of our injection molding processes. You will work closely with the production team to maintain and repair injection molds, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity. This position requires a high level of expertise in servicing plastic injection molds, valve gated molds, and hot runner systems.Duties and Responsibilities:- Enhance the injection molding process by continuously monitoring and making machine adjustments to eliminate defective parts
- Collaborate within a team to configure, operate, and maintain injection molding machines, molds, and auxiliary equipment for the production of top-notch plastic components
- Conduct troubleshooting processes, swiftly identifying and addressing issues related to machine performance, material flow, tooling, and part quality
- Partner with the quality control team to promptly detect and resolve quality concerns, and implement corrective measures to prevent recurrence
- Execute other tasks as directed by the Setup Team Supervisor.Qualifications:- Proficient in the maintenance of plastic injection molds
- At least 5 years of experience
- Knowledgeable about valve gated molds
- Familiarity with hot runner systems
- Bilingualism required to communicate with technicians located in other provinces outside of QuebecPerks:- Group insurance medical, dental 50-50 (after 90 days typically but may negotiate) 3 weeks at employee\'s discretionHours of work:
