Technicien(ne) de service interne



Le role du technicien(ne) de service interne consiste a fournir un support technique a nos fournisseurs de services autorises. Le/la technicien(ne) de service interne assiste pour le diagnostic et le depannage des problemes avec les techniciens par telephone, diffuse des informations techniques et donne des conseils techniques au besoin. Le/la technicien(ne) de service interne doit assurer la resolution des problemes et la satisfaction du client vis-a-vis l'equipement de Hardt, tout en minimisant les couts et les temps d'arret. Le/la technicien(ne) de service interne est un(e) membre du departement service a la clientele et peut effectuer d'autres taches administratives au besoin. Le/la technicien(ne) de service interne releve du Chef du service a la clientele.

Principales Responsabilites



Repondre aux appels des fournisseurs de service par telephone; diagnostiquer, offrir un depannage et resoudre des problemes, quotidiennement pour les fournisseurs de services anglophones situes a l'exterieur du Quebec; S'assurer de la mise a jour des connaissances des equipements, des modes de defaillance et des procedures de reparation; Aider le groupe technique en fournissant des donnees provenant directement du support technique des magasins et assister a la conception d'equipement au besoin; Participer a une formation continue, assurer la mise a jour des connaissances et competences techniques de service; Soulever et discuter des problemes techniques avec les chefs de projets; Participe au transfert des appels de service (dispatch); Supporter l'equipe pour l'identification des pieces lorsque requis; Support technique les mardis et mercredis de 17h30 a 22h00, en alternance aux 4 semaines;

Qualifications



Formation technique et / ou diplome en electromecanique d'un college ou d'une ecole de metier accreditee; Deux annees ou plus d'experience concrete en reparation ou assemblage. Experience requise pour tester des equipements electromecaniques et / ou d'appareils electromenagers; Une annee d'experience en service a la clientele et support technique; Aptitude a lire et comprendre un schema electrique tel que l'on peut retrouver dans un appareil electromenager, controle industriel ou dans le secteur manufacturier; Etre capable de lire, de comprendre et d'expliquer les schemas de cablage electrique et les dessins d'assemblage mecanique; Capacite a visualiser les situations telles que decrites par les techniciens de service au telephone, conduisant a un diagnostic et a une resolution precise; Avoir une forte capacite a resoudre les problemes des assemblages mecaniques et des machines, ainsi que des composantes electriques et cablage; Avoir la volonte de satisfaire les besoins du client; Demontre un bon sens de l'organisation et est capable de fonctionner dans un environnement dynamique; Volonte de faire preuve de souplesse dans l'horaire de travail et etre disponible pour un quart de 7,5 heures entre 8h00 et 17h30; Possibilite de voyages occasionnels a court terme en Amerique du Nord pour des situations d'urgence; passeport et permis de conduire valides requis; Bonnes competences informatique; capacite a utiliser Outlook, Excel et Word de maniere efficace a exercer les fonctions; Possede d'excellentes habiletes a communiquer en anglais (lire, ecrire, parler), pour communiquer quotidiennement avec 99% des fournisseurs de services anglophones situes a l'exterieur du Quebec; Etre fonctionnel en francais (a l'oral et a l'ecrit); L'espagnol serait un atout.

Conditions de travail



Environnement de bureau standard. La semaine de travail comprend 37,5 heures, du lundi au vendredi. Le poste inclut le support technique d'urgence sur appel apres les heures normales de travail (cellulaire et ordinateur) deux jours par semaine (mardi et mercredi de 17h30 a 22h00), en rotation aux 4 semaines.

In-House Service Technician



The role of the In-House Service Technician is to provide technical assistance to our authorized service providers through diagnosing and troubleshooting problems with technicians over the phone and disseminating technical information and advice as necessary. The In-House Service Technician must ensure problem resolution and ultimately, customer satisfaction with Hardt's equipment while minimizing costs and downtime. The In-House Service Technician is a member of the Service Relations Department and may perform other administrative tasks as required. The In-House Service Technician is reporting to the Customer Service Manager.

Key Areas of Responsibility



Respond to service partner calls over the phone; diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve problems, on a daily basis for anglophone service partners located outside of Quebec; Maintain and update knowledge of equipment, failure modes and repair procedures; Assist technical group by providing field input and design assistance as appropriate; Participate in regular training, ensuring technical and service skills are up-to-date and at the level required for the position; Address areas of technical concern with Project Managers; Provide support of service call dispatch workflow (as required); Support Parts team with part identification as required; technical support Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 5:30PM to 10PM, alternating every 4 weeks.

Qualifications



Technical background and/or electromechanical diploma from an accredited college; Two or more years of hands-on experience with repairing, assembling or testing of electromechanical equipment and/or appliances is required; One year of technical customer support experience; Ability to read and understand an electrical schematic such as may be found in an appliance, industrial control or manufacturing environment; Be able to read, understand and explain electrical wiring schematics and mechanical assembly drawings; Ability to visualize issues as described by service technicians over the phone, leading to accurate diagnosis and resolution; Have strong troubleshooting abilities of mechanical assemblies and machinery as well as electrical components and wiring; Demonstrate a strong service focus; Candidate should be well organized and capable of multitasking in a dynamic environment; Willingness to be flexible in work schedule and be available for a 7.5-hour shift between 8:00AM - 5:30PM; There is a possibility of occasional, short-term travel within North America for emergency situations; valid passport and driver's license required; Good computer skills, and ability to use Outlook, Excel and Word effectively to perform duties; Excellent communication skills, verbal and written in English to communicate with 99% anglophone service partners located outside of Quebec on a daily basis; Functional in French (verbal and written); Spanish will be an asset.

Working Conditions



Normal for an office environment. Work week consists of 37.5 hours, from Monday through Friday. The tasks include work that consists of on-call emergency technical support after normal business hours (cell phone/computer standby) two days per week (Tuesday and Wednesday from 5:30PM to 10PM) on rotation every 4 weeks.
