Prep Academy Tutors is a private, in-home and online tutoring company. We deliver flexible and personalized tutoring programs to our students. We specialize in all subject areas and cater to students from age four to twenty. We hire only the best - certified teachers, or those in the process of completing their degree in Education.

Job summary

Provide academic support to students based on expertise and knowledge based on the Ontario curriculum. Provide supplemental assignments to students to help promote greater understanding of material. Provide remedial and enrichment support for students. Communicate with parents or guardians to discuss student progress.

A qualified applicant will meet at least one of the following criteria:

A minimum of a completed bachelor's degree in mathematics Experience tutoring math based on the Ontario curriculum
Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour

Are you able to travel to student's homes around the Durham Region? (In-home tutoring is a requirement for this position) Are you able to teach all math courses up to grade 12? Do you have experience tutoring math based on the Ontario curriculum up to the grade 12 level? Can you teach anything else? (i.e. physics, chemistry, biology, science) Have you completed at least a bachelor's degree in mathematics ?
