Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate French Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to helping students achieve their academic goals in French through personalized instruction and support. This role requires travelling to students' homes or meeting at agreed-upon public locations; therefore, the tutor must have a valid driver's license and reliable transportation. The tutor will work closely with students to strengthen their French reading, writing, speaking, and comprehension skills while fostering a positive and engaging learning environment.

Responsibilities

Provide one-on-one or small group French tutoring sessions at students' homes or public locations, tailored to individual needs. Develop customized French lesson plans aligned with students' learning goals and school curriculum requirements. Assess students' progress in French regularly and adjust teaching strategies as needed. Communicate effectively with students, parents, and educators regarding progress and areas for improvement. Create engaging French language activities that promote vocabulary development, grammar mastery, and conversational fluency. Maintain a supportive and encouraging atmosphere to help students build confidence in using French. Document student progress and provide clear feedback on their language development.
Skills & Requirements

Strong communication skills to clearly explain French language concepts and engage students. Experience teaching or tutoring French, with the ability to support diverse learners. Ability to connect with children and tailor instruction to different learning styles. Patience, empathy, and enthusiasm for teaching French. Proficiency in French grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, and oral communication. Strong organizational skills to manage lesson plans, schedules, and assessments. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel to students' homes or public meeting locations.

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
