Noval Care is the heart-centred companion support division of Noval Bloom Inc. We provide gentle, non-clinical presence for individuals navigating the tender seasons of postpartum recovery, grief, or health challenges.
Our companions don't offer therapy or medical care, they offer something just as powerful:
a calming presence, a listening ear, and an emotional & supportive space to simply be
. Whether it's holding the baby so a new mom can shower, sitting quietly during a tough moment, or helping with small tasks so someone can rest, our support is grounded in empathy, dignity, and real connection.
Our team is made up of
listeners, reassurers, nurturers, and compassionate companions
who walk alongside clients during life's most vulnerable moments.
Because care doesn't end at hospital discharge,
it begins at home.
Description:
Noval Bloom Inc. is seeking kind, grounded individuals to provide non-clinical companion support in client homes.
This is not a medical, childcare or personal care role; It's about being a steady, supportive presence for families and individuals going through postpartum, grief, or health recovery. You might hold space for a new parent, lending a hand so they can rest, or simply offer quiet companionship during overwhelming moments after returning from the hospital, or transitioning back into a new lifestyle after illness or loss.
This role is ideal for those who understand the emotional weight of early parenthood or healing and want to walk alongside families and individuals during their most vulnerable moments, with empathy, gentleness, and warmth.
What You'll Do:
Bring emotional intelligence to every visit; reading the room, staying grounded, and offering care that feels calm, present, and thoughtful
Think on your feet and adapt to each client's needs while maintaining professionalism, and respect
Offer a calm, compassionate in-person or virtual presence during booked sessions
Engage in active listening and hold space for clients without judgment
Support emotional well-being by offering reassurance, friendly conversation, and encouragement
Assist with light practical tasks (e.g., bottle prep, light snack setup, dog walking, pet feeding, prescription run)
Sitting with or entertaining infants or toddlers while the client showers, rests, or eats, etc.
Respect family and cultural values, adapting to each client's emotional tone and environment
Observe and gently report any concerning emotional changes to the Noval Bloom Care Coordinator
Provide companionship without pushing advice or offering medical, therapeutic, or parenting directives
Ensure client confidentiality and uphold Noval Bloom's code of conduct and ethics
Arrive on time, maintain a professional and respectful appearance, and follow safety and hygiene protocols
Optionally participate in virtual sessions where clients may wish to simply talk, vent, or feel heard.
Who Are You:
You're someone who deeply values
presence over productivity, empathy over expertise, and support over solutions.
Whether you're a stay-at-home parent, retired teacher, social work student, doula-in-training, or simply someone with a gift for holding space. If you want to make a real difference in someone's life by showing up fully and meeting people where they are, this role is for you.
