In Home Caregiver/home Support Worker
Job Description

We have a variety of casual, part-time and full-time hours available for in-home care of clients. We are currently looking for caregivers to work in: Mahone Bay, Rose Bay, Bridgewater, Chester, LaHave and Hubbards. Must have reliable transportation as there is no bus route.
Duties may include:
Personal care (bathing, grooming, dressing)
Meal preparation & grocery shopping
Light housekeeping
Companionship
Medication reminders
Respite for family or other caregivers
Essential Qualifications:
Home Support Workers can apply
Other interested applicants can have a Continuing Care Assistant Certification or PSW certification, or be a recent graduate /currently enrolled in a CCA program.
Nursing and/or LPN students can apply
International Students in Canada with a Nursing background can apply
Must have CPR/First Aid Certification within 3 months of hire
Must be able to work, days, evenings, weekends & holidays
Must have Criminal Background Check/Vulnerable Sector Check
Salary: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
