About the role.
Responsible for managing the mainline ingredient mixing room and providing safe forklift operation for specific jobs in the production facility. The successful candidate will work on 1 of the 4 designated production teams. The operator will work 4 on 4 off schedule. Shift work required.
What you'll be doing.

• Follow all GMP's, Global BOPs, and Safety processes

• Be an active member/ and or support change management for the betterment of the facility

• Active member/and or support committees and teams (IE JHSC, Ergonomics, and SUM Team)

• Support creation and development of policies and procedures for their area

• Boil out participation is required for this position.

• Manage forklift safety and traffic within the designated forklift areas. Provide forklift specific tasks to the production team including loading ingredients, managing inventory, testing of %/concentrations etc.

• Provide ingredients and forklift support to downline customers, batter, fryer, starch and other duties as assigned.

• Maintain sanitation practices specifically in the ingredient and starch rooms, including clean up days.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

What you'll need to be successful.

• High School Graduate

• Forklift certified or proven past experience and willingness to recertify

• Fine attention to detail

• Proven effective time management skills

• An understanding or proven ability to work in a manufacturing process

• Proven ability to work independently and complete all tasks on a day-to-day basis

• Able to prioritize and complete tasks with a keen sense of urgency

• Excellent communication skills including verbal and written as well as effective presentation skills

• Strong computer skills are required, particularly with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook)

• Shift schedule may be subject to change.

• Must have a proven history of safe work habits.

• Effective written, oral, mathematical and interpersonal skills.

• Adheres to all Company rules, regulations and policies and all relevant rules, regulations and policies.

• Experience in sanitation and chemical usage and asset

Physical Requirements

• Able to work in a high humidity, high or cool temperature work environment

• Physically capable of performing job duties (e.g., lifting 40 - 50 lbs as part of your daily routine)

Compensation Package: - Starting at $30.72 CAD hourly + Bonus eligibility + Hourly Pay Differential for applicable shifts
The above reflects the target compensation range for the position at the time of posting. Hiring compensation will be determined based on experience, skill set, education and training, and other organizational needs.
