Position Title: Ingredient Room OperatorPosition Type: Regular - Full-Time xe2x80x8bPosition Location: CoaldaleRequisition ID: 33563Summary: Responsible for managing the mainline ingredient mixing room and providing safe forklift operation for specific jobs in the production facility. The successful candidate will work on 1 of the 4 designated production teams. The operator will work 4 on 4 off schedule. Shift work required.Essential Duties / Responsibilities:Follow all GMPxe2x80x99s, Global BOPs, and Safety processesBe an active member/ and or support change management for the betterment of the facilityActive member/and or support committees and teams (IE JHSC, Ergonomics, and SUM Team)Support creation and development of policies and procedures for their areaBoil out participation is required for this position.Manage forklift safety and traffic within the designated forklift areas. Provide forklift specific tasks to the production team including loading ingredients, managing inventory, testing of %/concentrations etc.Provide ingredients and forklift support to downline customers, batter, fryer, starch and other duties as assigned.Maintain sanitation practices specifically in the ingredient and starch rooms, including clean up days.Other duties as assigned by supervisor.Required Education, Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (Competencies)High School GraduateForklift certified or proven past experience and willingness to recertifyFine attention to detailProven effective time management skillsAn understanding or proven ability to work in a manufacturing processProven ability to work independently and complete all tasks on a day-to-day basisAble to prioritize and complete tasks with a keen sense of urgencyExcellent communication skills including verbal and written as well as effective presentation skillsStrong computer skills are required, particularly with MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams and Outlook)Shift schedule may be subject to change.Must have a proven history of safe work habits.Effective written, oral, mathematical and interpersonal skills.Adheres to all Company rules, regulations and policies and all relevant rules, regulations and policies.Experience in sanitation and chemical usage and assetPhysical RequirementsAble to work in a high humidity, high or cool temperature work environmentPhysically capable of performing job duties (e.g., lifting 40 xe2x80x93 50 lbs as part of your daily routine)McCain Foods is an equal opportunity employer.
