A propos du poste
Nous sommes a la recherche d'un(e) ingenieur(e) professionnel(le) certifie(e) pour diriger la validation et la certification des conceptions MEP (mecanique, electricite et plomberie). Dans ce role, vous assurerez la precision technique, identifierez et resoudrez les problemes de conception, et participerez aux discussions techniques avec les clients. Vous jouerez egalement un role cle dans le mentorat de l'equipe de conception et dans l'assurance qualite des livrables.
Vos responsabilites
Certifier tous les dessins MEP et assurer leur conformite aux normes d'ingenierie
Diriger et encadrer l'equipe de conception en les aidant a apprendre de leurs erreurs et a ameliorer les processus
Realiser des analyses de conception et proposer des recommandations d'optimisation
Participer aux audits energetiques et fournir un soutien technique
Effectuer des releves techniques pour assurer la conformite entre la conception et la construction
Contribuer a la conception 2D et 3D sur CAD
Participer aux visites de site et audits selon les besoins
Profil recherche
Baccalaureat en genie electrique ou dans une discipline connexe en MEP
Membre certifie de l'Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ)
5 a 8 ans d'experience en ingenierie electrique ou MEP
Excellente maitrise du francais et connaissance fonctionnelle de l'anglais
Maitrise des dessins d'installation et de fabrication 2D avec AutoCAD ou Raster Design
Minimum 2 ans d'experience avec un logiciel de conception electrique tel que E3 Series ou SEE Electrical
Connaissance des systemes de gestion documentaire tels que Smarteam, Logesdes, BIM360/ACC, MPI ou CPI.

About the Role
We're looking for a certified professional engineer to lead the validation and certification of MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) designs. In this role, you'll ensure technical accuracy, identify and resolve design issues, and support client discussions. You'll also play a key role in mentoring the design team and ensuring quality across all deliverables.
What You'll Do
Certify all MEP drawings and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Lead and mentor the design team, helping them learn from design errors and improve processes
Conduct design analysis and provide recommendations for optimization
Support energy audits and provide technical input
Perform design surveys to ensure alignment between design and construction
Contribute to 2D and 3D CAD design work
Participate in site surveys and audits as required
What You Bring
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related MEP discipline
Certified member of the
Ordre des ingenieurs du Quebec (OIQ)
5-8 years of experience in electrical or MEP engineering
Strong command of
French
and working knowledge of
English
Proficiency in
2D installation and manufacturing drawings
using AutoCAD or Raster Design
At least 2 years of experience with
electrical design software
such as E3 Series or SEE Electrical
Familiarity with
document management systems
like Smarteam, Logesdes, BIM360/ACC, MPI, or CPI
