Summary of the position
Referring to the Director of engineering, within the Performance Analysis Group, the performance analysisengineer is responsible for the design of dynamic modelsrepresenting the behaviour of landing gears in order to assess dynamic loads.
Key responsibilities
Perform kinematic and dynamic analyses of components and components
Perform simulations
to determine the maximum load of different parameters based on flight configurations and aircraft assessed
Assess ground loads using empirical methods prescribed by Transport Canada, the FAA or any other regulatory agency
Determine aircraft loads during landing and ground travel
Assess rigidity, viscosity, mass distribution, friction, and all other parameters relevant to analyses
Perform retraction and extension analyses
Perform stability analyses
("shimmy", "gear walk")
Produce performance reports including analyses
Define requirements and criteria related to
performance and airworthiness specifications
for landing gear development and qualification tests for validation and model calculations
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in
mechanical engineering
or equivalent and 2 years of relevant experience or any combination of education and experience deemed equivalent (Master's degree an asset)
Excellent knowledge of technical calculations related to dynamics and vibration
Bilingual
(French and English)
Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft suite
Proven expertise in
advanced calculations and analyses
Demonstrated expertise in solving complex problems
Demonstrated ability to work as a team in a customer-focused environment

Effectuer des analyses cinematiques et dynamiques de composants et de composants

Produire des rapports de performance incluant des analyses
Definir les exigences et les criteres lies aux specifications de performance et de navigabilite pour le developpement des trains d'atterrissage et les essais de qualification pour la validation et les calculs de modele
Qualifications:
Baccalaureat en genie mecanique ou l'equivalent et 2 ans d'experience pertinente ou toute combinaison d'etudes et d'experience jugee equivalente (maitrise un atout)
Excellente connaissance des calculs techniques lies a la dynamique et aux vibrations
Bilingue (francais et anglais)
Excellente connaissance de la suite Microsoft
Expertise eprouvee dans les calculs et analyses avances
Expertise demontree dans la resolution de problemes complexes
Capacite demontree a travailler en equipe dans un environnement axe sur le client.
