Groupe SBSE est une firme d'ingenierie multidisciplinaire specialisee en energie, structure, environnement et accessibilite. Nous recherchons un Ingenieur en structure motive pour rejoindre notre equipe et contribuer a des projets varies dans les secteurs commercial, residentiel et industriel.

Responsabilites

Effectuer l'analyse et la conception des elements structuraux des batiments, y compris des structures commerciales, residentielles et industrielles. Preparer des dessins detailles des structures et des fondations ainsi que les devis. Effectuer des visites de chantier et rediger des rapports d'inspection structurale. Realiser des calculs manuels conformes aux normes canadiennes et americaines en vigueur. Assurer la conformite des travaux sur le site avec les exigences de conception et participer aux reunions avec les entrepreneurs et les clients. Concevoir et analyser des structures en acier, beton, maconnerie et bois. Examiner et approuver les dessins d'atelier. Realiser au besoin des croquis de details et de sections. Rediger des propositions, des etudes et des rapports techniques.

Qualifications

Baccalaureat en genie civil ou en genie des structures avec titre OIQ obligatoire et titre P.Eng. un atout. Parfaitement bilingue francais et anglais, a l'oral et a l'ecrit. Minimum d'un an d'experience en conception structurale au Quebec. Excellentes aptitudes de communication ecrite et orale. Grand souci du detail et capacite a gerer plusieurs priorites. Capacite a travailler sous pression et a respecter les echeances. Maitrise d'AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel et des logiciels d'analyse structurale. Connaissance des codes et normes d'ingenierie structurale canadienne et americaine. Attitude positive et solide ethique de travail.

Structural Engineer

Groupe SBSE is a multidisciplinary engineering firm specializing in energy, structure, environment, and accessibility. We are seeking a motivated Structural Engineer to join our team and contribute to diverse projects in the commercial, residential, and industrial sectors.

Responsibilities

Perform structural analysis and design for building components, including commercial, residential, and industrial structures. Prepare detailed structural and foundation drawings along with specifications. Conduct site visits and prepare structural inspection reports. Perform hand calculations in compliance with Canadian and American engineering standards. Ensure site compliance with design requirements and attend meetings with contractors and clients. Design and analyze steel, concrete, masonry, and timber structures. Review and approve shop drawings. Sketch structural details and sections as needed. Prepare proposals, studies, and technical reports.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering with OIQ designation mandatory and P.Eng. designation a plus. Must be fully bilingual in English and French, spoken and written. Minimum of 1 year of experience in structural design within Quebec. Strong verbal and written communication skills. High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, Microsoft Word, Excel, and structural analysis software. Familiarity with Canadian and American structural engineering codes and standards. Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Pay: $75,000.00-$150,000.00 per year
