A propos du role :

Notre bureau de Montreal recrute un Ingenieur de Projet pour rejoindre l'equipe. Le candidat ideal aura une solide experience en ingenierie structurelle, specialise dans la restauration de batiments et la gestion de projets, et possedera une comprehension approfondie des systemes structurels et des composants de l'enveloppe du batiment. De plus, le titulaire du poste aura une experience prealable en developpement de clientele, en particulier dans l'industrie de la construction et de la restauration. Taches du poste :

Effectuer des inspections detaillees des batiments en mettant l'accent sur: + Les elements structurels, en particulier les structures de stationnement;
+ Les systemes de facade;
+ Les systemes generaux de l'enveloppe du batiment, y compris les toitures;
Gerer et executer des projets de restauration et de reparation, en veillant au respect de la qualite technique, des delais et des contraintes budgetaires; Creer des dessins d'ingenierie detailles et des specifications pour les projets de restauration; Preparer et presenter des rapports techniques et des resumes d'inspections; Preparer des propositions gagnantes; Participer aux activites de developpement commercial, notamment l'identification de clients potentiels, la construction et le maintien de relations, ainsi que la securisation de nouveaux projets; Collaborer avec des equipes transversales, des parties prenantes externes, y compris des sous-traitants, des clients, des agences reglementaires, etc.; Participer a des activites de mentorat; Veiller a ce que tout le travail soit effectue conformement aux reglementations de sante et de securite et aux politiques de l'entreprise; Autres taches pouvant etre assignees.

About The Role:

Our Montreal office is hiring a Project Engineer to join the team. The ideal candidate will have strong background in structural engineering, specializing in building restoration and project management and possess a comprehensive understanding of structural systems and building envelope components. In addition, the incumbent will have previous experience with client development, particularly within the construction and restoration industry. Job Duties:

Conducting detailed inspections of buildings with emphasis on: + Structural elements, specifically with parking structures;
+ Facade systems;
+ General building envelope systems, including roofs;
Managing and executing restoration and repair projects, ensuring adherence to technical quality, timelines and budgetary constraints; Creating detailed engineering drawings and specifications for restoration projects; Preparing and presenting technical reports and inspections summaries; Preparing winning proposals; Engaging in business development activities, including identifying potential clients, building & maintaining relationships and securing new projects; Collaborating with cross-functional teams, external stakeholders, including subcontractors, clients regulatory agencies, etc.; Participate in mentorship activities; Ensure all work in carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations and company policies; Other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Diplome de baccalaureat en Genie Civil ou Structurel; Au moins 5 ans d'experience demontree en ingenierie structurelle avec un accent sur les projets de restauration; Excellentes competences en communication ecrite et orale en francais et en anglais; Experience prealable en developpement de clientele et preparation de propositions; Solide connaissance des codes de construction, normes et reglementations pertinentes; Excellentes competences en resolution de problemes et attention aux details; Capacite a travailler de maniere autonome et en equipe; Maitrise des logiciels d'analyse structurelle, y compris AutoCAD et Revit; Permis de conduire valide, avec acces a un vehicule et assurance pour se rendre sur les sites de projet.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; At least 5 years of demonstrated experience in structural engineering with focus on restoration projects; Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both French and English; Previous experience in client development and proposal preparation; Strong knowledge of relevant building codes, standards and regulations; Excellent problem solving skills and attention to details; Ability to work independently and as part of a team; Proficiency in structural analysis software, including Auto CAD & Revit; Valid driver's license, with access to a vehicle and insurance to travel to projects sites.
