Reporting to the Methods & Special Tooling Leader, the tooling design engineer is involved in the design of installation tools, machining, dismantling, handling and lifting tools. Participate in the design of specialized tools related to recent major projects or being submitted.

• Planifier la phase de conception de l\xe2\x80\x99outillage, assurer un suivi et se coordonner avec l\'\xc3\xa9quipe de projet;
• Participer aux revues de conception de divers projets afin d\xe2\x80\x99assurer une conception conforme avec les m\xc3\xa9thodes d\xe2\x80\x99installation chantier;
• Optimisation de la conception d\xe2\x80\x99outillage ou de machine pour am\xc3\xa9liorer les temps d\xe2\x80\x99installation;
• Pr\xc3\xa9parer et superviser l\'ex\xc3\xa9cution des dessins techniques;
• R\xc3\xa9diger des rapports et des documents d\'ing\xc3\xa9nierie, y compris des proc\xc3\xa9dures d\xe2\x80\x99essai, des notes de calcul technique, des manuels d\xe2\x80\x99entretien;
• Apporter un soutien technique \xc3\xa0 la cha\xc3\xaene d\xe2\x80\x99approvisionnement et participer au soutien technique des \xc3\xa9quipes montage en chantier;
• Validation des co\xc3\xbbts des proc\xc3\xa9dures et outillage au cours de la phase d\'appel d\'offres avec les autres membres de l\xe2\x80\x99\xc3\xa9quipe Construction & Commissioning;
• Responsable de ses livrables et budgets dans le cadre des projets attitr\xc3\xa9s.

• Analyze the technical information (technical specifications, scope of work, division of work);
• Responsible for the design of the site\'s special tooling for site assembly in accordance with site planning and budget considering the EHS aspect;
• Plan the tooling design phase, follow up and coordination with the project team;
• Participate in design reviews of various projects and ensure design consistent with site installation methods;
• Optimisation of the tooling design or the machine to improve and reduce site installation time;
• Prepare information and supervise the execution of technical drawings;
• Write reports and engineering documents, including test procedures, engineering notes, maintenance manuals;
• Provide technical support to the supply chain and participate in the technical support of the site teams;
• Validate the costing of procedure & tooling during the tendering phase with other members of the Construction & Commissioning team;
• Responsable of the deliverables and budgets for their projects.

• Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at en g\xc3\xa9nie m\xc3\xa9canique, avec un minimum de 5 \xc3\xa0 10 ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience pertinente;
• Membre de l\'Ordre des Ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec;
• Communication en anglais obligatoire - L\'employ\xc3\xa9(e) sera amen\xc3\xa9(e) \xc3\xa0 interagir de mani\xc3\xa8re fluide avec des coll\xc3\xa8gues de nos autres installations \xc3\xa0 travers et/ou \xc3\xa0 l\'ext\xc3\xa9rieur du Canada, et qui sont g\xc3\xa9n\xc3\xa9ralement incapables de communiquer en fran\xc3\xa7ais et dont la langue de travail est principalement l\'anglais.
• Connaissance de Safety Standards for Material Handling and Lifting Equipment (OSHA) B30.20 sous le crochet;

• English communication is mandatory - The employee will be required to interact fluidly with colleagues in our other facilities across and/or outside of Canada, and who are generally unable to communicate in French and whose language at work is predominantly English.
• Knowledge of Safety Standards for Material Handling and Lifting Equipment (OSHA) B30.20 Below the hook;
• Knowledge of welding and machining would be an asset;
• Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively;
• Must be prepared for pre-employment screening including, but not limited to, reference checks and background checks;
• Must be authorized to work in Canada without restriction;
• Ready to travel time to time in North America.
