Les activit\xc3\xa9s

• Identifier, recommander et initier des am\xc3\xa9liorations aux processus ou aux proc\xc3\xa9dures d\'exploitation, ce qui am\xc3\xa9liorera les op\xc3\xa9rations de l\'usine en ce qui a trait \xc3\xa0 la s\xc3\xa9curit\xc3\xa9, \xc3\xa0 l\'environnement, \xc3\xa0 la qualit\xc3\xa9, \xc3\xa0 la production et au co\xc3\xbbt des proc\xc3\xa9d\xc3\xa9s.
• \xc3\x89valuer et choisir les \xc3\xa9quipements appropri\xc3\xa9s pour maintenir et am\xc3\xa9liorer le contr\xc3\xb4le op\xc3\xa9rationnel et l\'int\xc3\xa9gration des processus de fabrication.
• Fournir des statistiques et / ou des interpr\xc3\xa9tations et des analyses afin de mieux faire conna\xc3\xaetre les principaux probl\xc3\xa8mes de fabrication et de qualit\xc3\xa9 de l\'usine de p\xc3\xa2te \xc3\xa0 haut rendement.
• Surveiller l\'utilisation des mati\xc3\xa8res premi\xc3\xa8res et communiquer les r\xc3\xa9sultats.
• Participer \xc3\xa0 la pr\xc3\xa9paration du rapport de co\xc3\xbbts mensuel.
• Appuyer la mise en application des normes du Syst\xc3\xa8me de gestion de la qualit\xc3\xa9 (ISO 9001) et du Syst\xc3\xa8me de gestion environnementale (ISO 14001).
• Entreprendre, participer et soutenir les essais en usine.
• Faciliter la compr\xc3\xa9hension des processus de l\'usine de p\xc3\xa2te \xc3\xa0 papier \xc3\xa0 l\'aide d\'analyses et de conseils techniques.
• Se tenir au courant des nouvelles technologies.
• Identifier les opportunit\xc3\xa9s de r\xc3\xa9duction de co\xc3\xbbts au sein de l\'usine assign\xc3\xa9e et soutenir le plan de r\xc3\xa9duction de co\xc3\xbbts.
• Fournir des conseils techniques et son savoir pratique aux unit\xc3\xa9s op\xc3\xa9rationnelles du site.
• Peut travailler de garde et de fin de semaine.

• Scolarit\xc3\xa9 : Baccalaur\xc3\xa9at en g\xc3\xa9nie chimique
• Exp\xc3\xa9rience: 1-3 ann\xc3\xa9es d\'exp\xc3\xa9rience
• Membre en r\xc3\xa8gle de l\'ordre des Ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (OIQ)

Optimize existing and future processes of the High Yield Pulp Mill to meet product specifications and optimize daily production.

ACCOUNTABILITIES: What RYAM expects you to do
People

• Promote and provide a safe workplace, seek improvements, support Health & Safety Program.
• Maintain a communications program to keep your team informed regarding mill and department priorities.
• Support compliance with collective agreement and sound union/management/employee relations.
• Report to the Technical Services Manager.

Operations

• Identify, recommend and initiate improvements to processes or operating procedures, which will enhance mill operations with respect to process safety, environment, quality, production and cost.
• Apply knowledge and tools to maintain and enhance operational control and integration of manufacturing processes.
• Provide statistics and / or interpretation and analysis of trends to heighten awareness of the key manufacturing and quality issues in the High Yield Pulp Mill.
• Monitor raw material usage and communicate results.
• Participate in the preparation of the grade costs report for financial month end.
• Support the application of the Quality (ISO 9001) and the Environment (ISO 14001) programs.
• Initiate, participate in and support mill trials.
• Facilitate the understanding of Pulp Mill processes by clearly explaining their interpretation and relationship using statistical analysis or other techniques.
• Keep up to date with new environmental and process technology.
• Identify cost reduction opportunities within he assigned mill and support the cost reduction plan.
• Provide process recommendations to the site operating / business units and Site Services.
• Could be on call and weekend duty.

REQUIREMENTS: What you bring to our workplace

• Education: Bachelor\'s degree in chemical engineering
• Experience: 1 to 3 years\' experience
• Member of the Ordre des Ing\xc3\xa9nieurs du Qu\xc3\xa9bec (OIQ)
