We are seeking an Infrastructure Engineering Advisor, reporting to the Manager, Wintel Platforms. The successful candidate will have a good understanding of enterprise infrastructure, technical support and troubleshooting in a hybrid environment, with an excellent sense of customer service. As a Wintel Administrator, the candidate will be working under the guidance of the manager and alongside their peers and business units to ensure operational goals and SLAs are met and maintained.Main Job Responsibilities (requirements):Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and resolve operational infrastructure issues.Ability to provide input on Wintel infrastructure assignments and/or projects.Maintain Wintel incident management ticket queuesOversee the backup environment, managing jobs and schedules, ensuring successful completion and ability to perform quarterly restore tests.Supports the design, analysis, development, and implementation of Wintel infrastructure solutions of projects and/or work requests for business solutions, including operational readiness.Ensuring operational documentation is maintained and up to date.Ability to automate repeatable operational tasks.On-call support on a rotational basis.Strong command of English, both written and verbalAdditional Tasks may include:Risk assessments, partnering on capacity planning, input on developing budget forecasts for certain projectsMay serve as the primary point of contact for vendors.Exercises creativity, foresight, and judgment in conceiving, planning, and delivering initiatives.Uses knowledge and experience to advise functional leaders.Qualifications:2-3 years in a Windows-based virtualized operating environmentExperience with mainstream Windows virtualization technologiesCustomer-oriented approach, recognizing the service-oriented approach required by technical support.Microsoft-based certification required; cloud-based certification preferred.Schedule flexibility required to occasionally work outside of normal business hours to support production issues or to support project implementations, not to exceed the regular work week hours (no overtime)Nice-to-Have:English/French bilingualExperience with storage networks and storage systemsExperience with Microsoft platform-as-a-service technologiesExperience with Microsoft Virtual/Remote desktop infrastructureCertification or experience with Microsoft SQL databases and scriptingNOTE: Internal candidates should apply before June 7, 2024.Express Scripts Canada is a Cigna companyExpress Scripts Canada is a subsidiary of Express Scripts, a Cigna company.
