About Us:



Fairmont Hot Springs Resort is a premier destination offering world-class hospitality and recreational experiences. Our expansive property includes 153 guest rooms across two main buildings and cabins, 116 timeshare villas, seven food & beverage outlets, three golf courses, a ski hill, two RV and campsite parks, and staff accommodation facilities. Additionally, we operate a publicly served water and sewer utility, serving both our property and the surrounding community.

We are seeking a highly experienced Director of Infrastructure to oversee and maintain the physical and operational integrity of all resort facilities, utilities, and staff accommodation, ensuring the highest standards of safety, efficiency, and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:



Lead, manage, and coordinate all aspects of resort infrastructure, including buildings, villas, cabins, public areas, pools, golf courses, ski hill facilities, RV/campsite parks, and staff accommodations. Oversee operation and maintenance of the resort's water and sewer utility, ensuring compliance with local regulations and public health standards. Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs and long-term capital planning strategies. Manage all construction, renovation, and facility upgrade projects from planning through completion. Lead, mentor, and develop a multidisciplinary team of facility, engineering, and utility staff. Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and regulatory standards across all resort operations. Collaborate with resort leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation for infrastructure projects. Evaluate and implement technology and systems to optimize infrastructure operations and asset management.

Qualifications

:

Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, Facilities Management, Construction Management, or a related field (Master's preferred). Minimum 10 years of experience in large-scale resort, hospitality, or utility operations management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role. Proven experience managing multi-facility operations, including accommodation, recreational, and utility facilities. Strong knowledge of water/sewer utility operations, building systems, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and landscape management. Excellent leadership, project management, and strategic planning skills. Ability to work in a remote resort environment, managing diverse teams and multiple operational priorities. Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with senior leadership and external stakeholders.
