Job Description

(Internal Title: Business System Configuration / Development III) + Design, develop, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards to support capital project delivery performance, including cost, schedule, risk, and resource metrics
+ Partner with program controls, finance, engineering, and executive stakeholders to translate reporting needs into clear, meaningful outputs that drive decision-making
+ Build and optimize Power BI dashboards with strong data models, DAX, and visualization best practices
+ Integrate data from enterprise and contractor systems (ERP, PMIS, HR, project controls tools, data warehouses) into reporting solutions
+ Drive data analytics and process automation initiatives that improve efficiency and reporting accuracy
+ Ensure all reporting solutions align with enterprise data governance, security, and quality standards
+ Proactively identify opportunities for reporting improvements, automation, and simplification




Experience: + 10+ years of experience in IT, with a strong focus on data analytics, reporting, and business intelligence
+ Proven experience in reporting for capital projects delivery or major infrastructure/engineering programs
+ Expertise in Power BI (data modeling, DAX, Row-Level Security, dashboard design)
+ Strong proficiency in SQL and experience integrating enterprise systems into reporting solutions
+ Experience with process automation and delivering repeatable reporting solutions
+ Solid understanding of project management principles and how they relate to project controls and reporting
Education: + Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Licenses OR Certifications: + Holding recognized certification in the applicable area of specialty
Skills and Competencies: + Experience with large-scale capital programs (e.g., transit, utilities, energy, or infrastructure)
+ Knowledge of data warehousing, data pipelines, and integration methods
+ Familiarity with Python, R, or statistical methods for advanced data analysis
+ Exposure to other BI tools such as Tableau
+ Familiarity with other analytics solutions such as Databricks and Snowflake
+ Solid understanding of project management principles and how they relate to project controls and reporting
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to distill complex data into simple, meaningful insights
+ Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders
