Genoa Design International (Genoa) is hiring an Infrastructure Analyst to join our innovative, service-minded Information Technology (IT) Team in Mount Pearl, Newfoundland!

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

As an Infrastructure Analyst, you'll play a key role in designing, integrating, and supporting Genoa's IT infrastructure. You'll work closely with our operations and development teams to deliver robust, secure, and high-performing systems, while also helping to maintain compliance, resolve escalated issues, and continuously improve our technological environment.



THE RESPONSIBILITIES

Design, implement, and support infrastructure systems including servers, networking equipment, and security solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements, develop implementation plans and provide regular updates on project or service delivery. Ensure systems meet availability, performance, security, and compliance objectives. Monitor, analyze, and address system performance, availability, and capacity issues. Implement and maintain identity and access management systems to align with security protocols. Respond to escalated service requests, incidents, and problem tickets. Perform advanced administrative tasks across on-premises servers, Microsoft 365, and Azure environments. Recommend and assist with implementing system upgrades and improvements. Support business continuity, disaster recovery, and incident response efforts. Maintain accurate documentation of infrastructure assets, configurations, and procedures. Collaborate with operations and facilities teams on data room and equipment needs. Taking on additional duties as required to support the IT Team and organization.

ABOUT YOU

A diploma or degree in Technology, Computer Science, or a related field. 5+ years of relevant work experience in IT systems, cloud infrastructure, networks, or similar technology. One or more of the following certifications: ITIL Foundation Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate Fortinet Certified Associate CompTIA Server+ CompTIA Network+ Hands-on experience configuring and supporting networks (eg: LAN, wireless, firewalls). Demonstrated experience in systems administration, change management, information security, data management and protection. Strong technical skills with Microsoft Entra ID, Intune, M365, Active Directory, SQL Server, and related technologies. Experience with Windows and Linux operating systems. Application of standards or frameworks such as NIST, CIS, or ISO in your work. Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills. A service-oriented, collaborative mindset and the ability to adapt to evolving needs and technologies. Experience supporting 3D design software (eg: AutoCAD, ShipConstructor, Cadmatic) and/or with ManageEngine products are considered assets.
