JOB SUMMARY:





To support the secure and stable operation of IT systems, including applications, personal computers, servers, network, and telephony equipment. Tier 1 support and analysis of end user software and hardware issues in a timely and accurate fashion. Staffing the help desk, answering phone and email requests, and responding to employee questions in a friendly, positive, and timely manner.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:




Support all operating systems and their associated software Installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of PCs, mobile devices, and printers Support connection solutions including local area networks, company website, intranet, Internet applications, faxing systems, and PBX Communicate regularly and effectively with customers on open ticket status Administer and maintain end user accounts, permissions, and access rights Provide support for mobile/remote users and offices Implement system updates to improve performance and stability Support software and hardware improvements, upgrades, and/or purchases Assist with research on emerging products, services, protocols, and standards in support of systems software procurement and development efforts Protect operations by keeping information confidential Maintain service desk and asset management

Rotating after hours on-call emergency support

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:




Assist with IT related projects as they arise. Topics include, but are not limited to, development, security, Microsoft 365

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:




College Diploma or equivalent Knowledge



TECHNICAL KNOWLEDGE/EXPERIENCE




1-2 years of relevant experience Networking fundamentals knowledge Office 365 administration Knowledge of Windows and Linux server roles (email, Active Directory, Print and File services, etc.) Knowledge of a wide variety of computer hardware (mobile, server, telephony, printers, etc.) Knowledge of a wide variety of corporate software (Microsoft 365, Adobe, etc.)
