Information Security Analyst
Location: Ottawa, ON

Term: Full time, permanent

High Tech Genesis is looking for an Information Security Analyst is responsible for protecting an organization\'s computer networks and systems from unauthorized access, theft, damage, or disruption. They are responsible for identifying potential security breaches, assessing the level of risk, and implementing appropriate measures to prevent or mitigate the impact of security incidents.

Your responsibilities include: * Develop, document, and maintain processes and job aids.

• Gathering and documenting business and system requirements, current and proposed process mappings
• Recommend changes to established business processes,
• Ability to propose alternative solutions to meet business requirements.
• Strong ability to document business needs and requirements to stakeholders.
• Plan and prioritize workload, adapt to priority changes, and manage with work interruptions.
• Ability to lead meetings for hosted or virtual teams; in either remote or office environments.
• Ensure detailed documentation of business requirements.

Requirements

• 2-3 years of pertinent experience knowledge in governance risk and compliance
• MS Office suite basic level
• Post secondary diploma or equivalent work experience
• Excellent communication and team working skills and able to conduct presentations
• Organized and has a good capacity for analysis when confronted with challenges
• Knowledge of security industry standards, regulation and compliancy
• Basic knowledge of wireless architecture and security
• Support user acceptance testing process, including preparation of acceptance criteria, review of the test plans and scenarios, review of test results
