SRA Staffing is seeking an Information and Data Enterprise Architect to support a Crown Client's information management initiatives. This role will focus on enhancing information and data capabilities, supporting IT risk mitigation, and assisting in the development of essential enterprise architecture artifacts. The position requires expertise in data governance, security, risk mitigation, and compliance.Location: Remote with 25% xe2x80x93 50% onsite presence required (to be neg)

Employment Type: Contract (12 months, with two optional 6-month extensions)Job Overview:Key Responsibilities:Data Architecture & Governance:Develop a comprehensive data classification framework in collaboration with stakeholders, ensuring alignment with governance policies and security requirements.Design encryption protocols to secure sensitive operational data and coordinate with IT teams for implementation.Ensure compliance with data governance standards by collaborating with governance leads and reviewing security requirements.Plan secure storage, encrypted transmission, and controlled processing solutions to safeguard operational data throughout its lifecycle.Recommend industry best practices for data encryption and classification.IT Risk Mitigation & Compliance:Assess and identify risks associated with IT-managed operational data, prioritizing high-risk areas.Define architectural solutions to address vulnerabilities and align with IT risk management objectives.Provide architectural guidance for incident response and cybersecurity measures in collaboration with security teams.Align data architecture initiatives with the organization's strategic roadmap and compliance frameworks.Enterprise Architecture & Collaboration:Work with domain specialists, security architects, and technology teams to develop enterprise data architecture documentation.Present architecture changes to governance boards and obtain necessary approvals.Support enterprise-wide digital transformation initiatives by aligning data architecture with business objectives.Provide mentorship to IT staff on best practices for data security, classification, and governance.Project & Stakeholder Management:Lead the design, documentation, and approval of data classification and encryption architectures.Collaborate with IT risk management teams to design adaptable data architecture solutions.Evaluate existing tools and systems for managing operational data and propose improvements.Define disaster recovery requirements for IT-managed operational data.Act as a liaison between IT operations and business intelligence teams to ensure governance-related initiatives are transparent and aligned.Qualifications & Experience:7+ years of experience in data architecture disciplines.5+ years of experience with workers' compensation insurance data models.Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data architectures.Knowledge of claims processing, policy management, and billing systems.Experience with data governance frameworks and compliance requirements.Strong understanding of IT security, encryption standards, and risk mitigation strategies.Skills & Competencies:Strong knowledge of systems, data, and customer requirements.Understanding of applicable legislation impacting data governance.Proficiency in data integration tools and SDLC methodologies.Ability to balance long-term strategy with immediate project needs.Strong leadership and mentorship capabilities.Work Location & Travel:Remote with a requirement to be onsite 25% xe2x80x93 50% of the time.Onsite location: Winnipeg, Manitoba.Travel as needed for project execution and stakeholder engagement.SRA Staffing is an equal opportunity employer and values diversity in our workplace.
