La Clinique du Voyageur par Summit Health est a la recherche un(e) Infirmier(e) pour rejoindre notre equipe en tant qu'infirmier(e) en sante voyage. Ce role est au coeur meme de notre mission : aider nos patients a parcourir le monde, en toute securite.
Ce que vous ferez :
Promouvoir la sante des voyageurs et la prevention des maladies parmi les voyageurs
Effectuer des tests de depistage rapide antigeniques et PCR COVID-19 pour les voyageurs (personnes asymptotiques uniquement)
Rencontrer les patients lors de consultations afin d'evaluer les risques specifiques lies a leur itineraire, antecedents medicaux et de vaccination, ainsi que leurs medicaments
Assurer les consultations et administrer les vaccins aux patients necessitant des vaccins de routine ou saisonniers (vaccins pediatriques, vaccin contre la grippe, Gardasil, etc.)
Respecter et appliquer correctement les politiques et procedures de service a la clientele
Offrir une excellente experience client a chaque patient
Travailler de facon autonome et etre desireux de contribuer a la satisfaction de nos patients et au bon fonctionnement de nos cliniques.

Ce dont vous aurez besoin :
Permis valide de l'Ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec (OIIQ)
Experience de plus de 2 ans en tant qu'infirmier(e) agree(e) dans un hopital ou une clinique privee
Bilingue (francais & anglais)
Atouts :
Experience anterieure en vaccination (administration de vaccins de routine, cliniques antigrippales, etc.)
Experience avec un DME base sur le Web
Experience en sante voyage un atout important

What you'll do:
Promote travel health and disease prevention amongst travelers;
Perform COVID-19 rapid antigen & PCR tests for travelers (asymptotic individuals only)
Meet with patients in consultation to assess their specific risks based on itinerary, medical and immunization history, and medications

What You'll Need:
Valid Ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec (OIIQ) permit
2+ years experience as a registered nurse in hospital or private clinic setting
Bilingual (French & English)
Nice to haves:
Experience with a web based EMR
Previous experience in immunization (administering routine vaccines, flu clinics etc.)
Experience in Travel Health a strong asset

Duties:
- Provide direct patient care in various healthcare settings
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor patient vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and feeding
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, medication administration, and self-care techniques
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and timely
Skills:
- Strong clinical skills and knowledge of medical procedures and protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, families, and healthcare professionals
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle stressful situations with professionalism
- Attention to detail and strong organizational skills to prioritize tasks and manage multiple patients simultaneously
- Compassionate and empathetic nature to provide quality care to patients in need
- Proficient in using electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes
