Le poste

Dans le cadre de l'expansion de nos activites operatoires, l'Institut Chirurgical de Westmount est a la recherche d'un(e) infirmier(ere) autorise(e) pour se joindre a notre equipe en salle de reveil. Il s'agit d'un poste a temps partiel, a pourvoir le plus rapidement possible.

Profil recherche :

Membre en regle de l'OIIQ (ordre des infirmieres et infirmiers du Quebec) Certification RCR a jour Certification ACLS (un atout) Formation en therapie intraveineuse et securite des medicaments Deplacement securitaire des patients (PDSB) Experience avec la gestion de la douleur post-operatoire et la sedation (un atout) Experience en salle de reveil, en soins critiques ou en bloc operatoire (un atout important) Capacite a evaluer et surveiller les patients en periode post-operatoire immediate Excellente autonomie, bon jugement clinique et sens des priorites Capacite a travailler efficacement en equipe interdisciplinaire

The position

As part of the expansion of our operating activities, the Westmount Surgical Institute is looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team in the recovery room. This is a part-time position, to be filled as soon as possible.

Profile sought:

Member in good standing of the OIIQ (Order of Nurses of Quebec Up-to-date CPR certification ACLS certification (an asset) Training in Intravenous Therapy and Drug Safety Safe Patient Movement (PDSB) Experience with post-operative pain management and sedation (an asset) Experience in the recovery room, critical care or operating room (a strong asset) Ability to assess and monitor patients in the immediate post-operative period Excellent autonomy, good clinical judgment and sense of priorities Ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary team
