La personne en poste devra offrir aux gens des soins infirmiers professionnels, incluant l'administration par injection ou par voie intraveineuse de produits biologiques ou d'autres produits pharmaceutiques specialises, et favoriser la sante des patients en realisant des bilans de sante pretraitement, en passant en revue les dossiers de patients, et en collaborant avec les medecins et equipes multidisciplinaires, au besoin. Ceci est fait dans le but ultime de fournir des traitements medicaux ou d'enseigner l'auto administration aux patients dans les centres de soins ambulatoires ainsi que directement chez le patient, ou tout autre environnement demande. L'infirmiere ou l'infirmier devra utiliser son jugement critique et ses competences en communication et prise de decisions cliniques afin d'evaluer l'etat de sante des patients ; planifier, implanter et eduquer ceux-ci tout au long de leur traitement.
Responsabilites specifiques
Evaluer l'etat de sante des patients au moyen d'un processus de pre-verification qui tient compte des contre-indications et des donnees objectives et subjectives afin de determiner s'ils peuvent recevoir des traitements medicaux.
Installer des perfusions intraveineuses peripheriques ou installer un acces via des catheters centraux au moyen de techniques steriles et des meilleures pratiques selon les normes et pratiques des ordres professionnels.
Etudier les dossiers des patients et les dossiers anterieurs post-administration afin de comprendre leurs antecedents.
Manipuler et reconstituer des medicaments biologiques et des medicaments d'oncologie conformement aux directives du fabricant et de Sante Canada.
Suivre les normes et directives relatives a l'administration des medicaments des ordres professionnels provinciaux regissant la profession d'infirmier/ere.
Determiner les besoins des patients en matiere de soins ; eduquer et conseiller.
Favoriser l'independance des patients, repondre aux questions et bien faire comprendre aux patients leur etat de sante et leurs medicaments.
Documenter les services de soins offerts aux patients et gerer les dossiers conformement aux politiques d'INVIVA.
Respecter les normes de soins et les philosophies propres a INVIVA et aux soins infirmiers.
Suivre les directives medicales specifiques a chaque patient pour l'administration ainsi que le traitement des evenements indesirables.
Rapporter les evenements indesirables conformement aux exigences precises du fabricant et des politiques de Sante Canada et d'INVIVA.
Surveiller les traitements medicaux ; observer et evaluer apres l'administration.
Maintenir ses connaissances sur les traitements medicaux tels que decrits dans les monographies de Sante Canada.
Connaitre les procedures et politiques d'INVIVA.
Prendre part aux audits des cliniques et des medicaments, sur demande.
Respecter les exigences associees a la comptabilisation de la medication conformement aux procedures operationnelles normalisees et a la politique INVIVA.
Participer activement aux activites de formation et de mentorat du nouveau personnel clinique.
Effectuer les formations requises par INVIVA, sur : les produits et services, les politiques, les technologies, l'assurance de la qualite et les communications.
Assurer le respect des normes en matiere de qualite, d'innocuite et de prevention des infections afin d'assurer une pratique securitaire des soins infirmiers. Responsabilites generales

Exigences du poste
Diplome en soins infirmiers d'une duree minimale de 2 ans
Au moins 2 ans d'experience en soins intensifs (c.-a-d. service d'urgence, service de soins intensifs)
Certification en perfusion ou experience equivalente exigee
Permis OIIQ valide
Baccalaureat en sciences infirmieres (atout)
Titre professionnel en soins intensifs (atout)
Maintien d'une certification RCR valide
Certification ACLS (atout)
Capacite de travailler dans diverses cliniques selon la region
Bilingue (Francais, anglais).

Job Summary
The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing professional nursing care to individuals including the intravenous or injection administration of biologics or other specialty pharmaceutical products and promotes patient health by completing health reviews prior to treatment, reviews patient files and collaborates with physicians and multidisciplinary team members as required, with the end goal of providing medical therapies or self- administration teaching to patients in an ambulatory setting.
The nurse uses critical thinking, therapeutic communication, and clinical decision-making skills to assess, plan, implement, educate and evaluate the patients' health situation throughout their treatment therapy.
Specific Responsibilities
Assessing the health status of patients using a pre-screening process that covers contraindications, objective, and subjective data, to determine eligibility in receiving medical therapies.
Insertion of peripheral intravenous or establishing access via central lines using sterile technique and best practices from the standards and practices of the college.
Studying patient files and prior post-administration records to understand patient's history.
Handling and reconstituting biologic or oncology medication as per manufacturer and Heath Canada guidelines.
Following provincial College of Nurses standards and guidelines on medication administration.
Identifying patient care requirements; educating and providing counseling.
Promoting patient independence; answering questions and teaching patients to understand their condition and medication.
Documenting patient care services and managing records in accordance with INVIVA policies.
Following INVIVA and nursing philosophies and standards of care.
Following patient specific medical directives for administration and treatment of adverse events.
Reporting adverse events in accordance with manufacturer specific requirements, Health Canada and INVIVA policy.
Providing medical therapy monitoring and post administration observation and assessment.
Maintaining knowledge of medical therapies as per Health Canada's Product Monograph.
Maintaining knowledge of INVIVA policies and procedures.
Participating with drug and clinic audits upon request.
Following drug accountability requirements as per INVIVA policy and standard operating procedure.
Actively participates in training and mentoring of new clinic staff.
Completing training as required by INVIVA on: products and services, policies, technology, quality assurance and communications.
Maintaining quality, safety and infection control standards to ensure safe nursing practice
Maintaining continuity among nursing teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

Job Requirements
2+ years of relevant experience, degree or equivalent
Minimum 2 years' experience in intensive care, critical care
Infusion certification or equivalent experience a must
Professional designation
Valid OIIQ license
Maintains CPR certification
ACLS certification is an asset
Bachelor's degree in nursing (considered an asset)
Ability to work at various clinics depending on region
Bilingual (French, English).
