Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Infant and Toddler Teachers to join our team at Montessori Early Years Inc. This role is essential in fostering a safe and engaging learning environment for our students, contributing to our mission of nurturing young minds.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans that align with Montessori principles.
Create a welcoming and safe classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
Assess and monitor children's progress, providing feedback to parents as needed.
Foster positive relationships with children, parents, and staff to promote a collaborative community.
Support children with diverse needs, including those requiring special education services.
Maintain classroom organization and manage daily schedules effectively.
Collaborate with colleagues to enhance teaching practices and share resources.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education or related field (mandatory).
Proven experience working with young children in an educational setting (mandatory).
Strong understanding of Montessori methods and philosophy (preferred).
Bilingual proficiency in English and French is an asset (preferred).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (somewhat).
Leadership experience or potential (somewhat).
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage time effectively (somewhat).
