Duties
Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans tailored to individual student needs.
Provide direct instruction and support to children in classroom settings, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment.
Collaborate with colleagues, caregivers, and families to support each child's educational progress.
Assist children with daily activities, including routines related to early childhood development and caregiving.
Adapt teaching strategies to accommodate children with diverse abilities, including those with disabilities.
Monitor and document student progress, providing feedback and reports as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment that promotes learning and safety.
Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in early childhood education.
Qualifications
Prior classroom experience is preferred, especially working with young children or in early childhood education settings.
Experience working with children with disabilities is highly desirable.
Strong teaching skills combined with patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for working with kids.
Background in caregiving or related fields that demonstrate nurturing capabilities.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating effectively with children, families, and team members.
Ability to create an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning needs.
Relevant certifications or training in early childhood education or special education are advantageous but not mandatory.
