We are experiencing exiting growth and currently expanding our team. We are a fast paced and fulfilling company that is seeking a detail orientated and experienced

Site Superintendent to join our Industrial Department.



The Role



Reporting to the Project Manager, the Site Superintendent is a key figure in our construction team. You will be responsible for overseeing day-to-day operations at the job site as well as ensuring the work progresses smoothly, safely and on schedule.

Summary of the duties



- Provide support for estimation and project planning for future projects

- Maintain project execution, contract requirements, project specifications, scope of work

- Ensure project/site adherence to OH&S regulations, company policies, industry standards, client policies/specifications, Site Specific Project Safety Plans.

- Provide site supervision to the crews ensuring that work is completed safety, correctly and on time

- Responsible for site staffing, quality control, subcontractor coordination, project scheduling

- Oversee the quality of work on-site and ensure that construction or industrial processes meet design specifications and standards

- Site material management

- Knowledge of standard construction software and management processes

- Quantity survey and progress measurement

- Timely identification, quantification, and documentation of CORs

- Support for invoicing through progress measurement, facilitation of owner hold points, signoffs and handovers

Required



- Minimum 5-10 years of industrial construction experience

- Previous superintendent experience where project value was over $5M

- Ability to perform material take-offs, supervise others, clearly communicate instructions, strong verbal and written communication skills

- Technical/Computer skills will be required

- Training Requirements not limited to: SCOT/WHIMIS, Supervisor Training, Ground Disturbance II , First Aid
