Industrial Sewing Machine Operator

Job Description
Responsibilities:
Makes sure safety is the number one priority
Sets up sewing machines for daily use
Operates sewing machines
Immediately reports any machine issues during the shift
Understands the standard operating procedures (SOPs) for the sewing machines
Immediately reports safety hazards associated with the sewing machines and around the factory
Suggests ways to improve sewing processes
Other duties as assigned
Requirements and Skills:
Previous manufacturing experience as a sewer with
single needle
andserger experience
Should be comfortable being cross-trained and working on a production line
Understanding of sewing processes
Attention to detail
Willingness to work the afternoon shift (3:30pm to 12:00am)
Workdays are between Monday and Friday. May occasionally work on Saturdays
Willingness to help out in other areas of the factory if needed
