RelyOn Canada is an ISO registered service-based company focused on exceeding our client's requirements, on time the first time. We provide safety and survival training to the onshore, offshore Oil & Gas industry, industrial, maritime sectors, Civilian and Military Aviation.

Industrial Services Technicians

operate in work locations that may be loud, cold or hot, wet and humid, in low or zero visibility environments, confined spaces, and are very physical in nature.

Major Duties

Provide guidance and input to clients for job related safety and emergency response. Provide Onsite safety advice and assistance to the client in such areas as Confined Space, Fall Protection, Hazardous Materials, and Rope Rescue where applicable. Provide rescue techniques and retrieval from confined spaces in the event of an emergency Provide excellent customer service and follow and abide by all RONC Safety Standard Operating Procedures Follows handling, inspection, cleaning and preventative maintenance guidelines for all rescue equipment so that it is in a constant state of readiness Completion of rescue preplans specific to the customer site and/or job Identification of site-specific rescue anchor points and development of site-specific hauling/lowering plan Completion of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) documentation Assistance in assessing potential hazard

Essential Qualifications

Confined Space Entry and Rescue Fall Protection Standard First Aid with CPR & AED certificate

ASSET QUALIFICATIONS

Rope Rescue High Angle Rescue Authorized Gas Tester Respiratory Protection Firefighting experience
