Our specialty is to size, specify, sell and service everything from Boilers and Blowers to Pumps and Finishing Equipment and from Fans and Mixers, Process controls, Valves and Nozzles. We work with Consulting Engineers, Mechanical Contractors, Plant Engineers, Maintenance Planners, Production Managers, and many others who keep industry going day to day.

Position Description:

We are seeking an experienced commissioning / start-up technician to support our sales and service of equipment installed in water and wastewater treatment plants. The job will require skills in the following facets.

Mechanical:

Capability to troubleshoot and repair mechanical issues in rotating machines including pumps, fans, blowers and mixers.

Electrical:

Ability to troubleshoot and program devices such as VFDs, smart relays, starters etc.

Pump Hydraulics:

Ability to understand the basic rules of pressure and flow in pumping systems, troubleshoot and make necessary adjustments to process systems in water and wastewater treatment plants.

Report writing:

Ability to log data on site and prepare written reports documenting test results for contractors and Engineers.

Communication:

Ability to communicate effectively with contractors, sub-trades, consulting Engineers and other vendors in the rough and tumble environment of starting and commissioning.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
