Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Industrial Project Engineer to join our team. Reporting to the Industrial Director, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing various improvement and investment (CAPEX) projects. You will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to identify, design, and implement innovative technical solutions that enhance equipment reliability, improve work methods, and increase operational efficiency.

What You'll Do

As an Industrial Project Engineer, you'll lead projects from concept to completion. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement efficient, safe, and cost-effective solutions, ensuring timelines, budgets, and EHS/5S standards are always met.



A Day in the Life

You'll collaborate with Production, Maintenance, and Engineering teams to identify opportunities for improvement and bring them to life. You'll manage project schedules, budgets, and suppliers, draft technical documents, and follow up on implementation. Your proactive and structured approach will help drive success in a fast-paced industrial environment.



Specific Duties

Plan, coordinate, and execute investment (CAPEX) projects. Define technical needs and collaborate with operators to identify optimal solutions. Prepare specifications, technical documentation, and tender packages. Lead workshop layout and process improvement projects in line with 5S and EHS standards. Design, propose, and implement solutions to improve equipment reliability, safety, and efficiency. Design specialized in tooling and coordinating fabrication. Provide technical support to Production and Maintenance teams. Manage budgets, schedules, and communication across stakeholders. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across departments.

Position Requirements

Bachelor's or technical degree in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience). 3-5 years of experience in a similar role, including engineering project management. Knowledge of industrial environments and Lean Manufacturing principles. Proficiency in AUTOCAD (2D) and INVENTOR (3D). Experience with CMMS software (INTERAL or equivalent). Bilingual in English and French (required). Strong communication, planning, and analytical skills. Team player with initiative and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
