About the Role

We're looking for a

hands-on, problem-solving System Integrator

to install, troubleshoot, and upgrade extrusion and blow molding equipment while integrating B&R PLC systems. You'll play a key role in keeping manufacturers productive across North America--restoring flow when lines stop and earning trust through quality work.

. You'll work directly with the owner and a team that has your back, taking ownership of projects from start to finish.

What You'll Do

Install & Integrate

Install and commission PLC and automation systems (primarily B&R). Retrofit machines with upgraded controls, panels, HMIs, and communications. Ensure seamless integration with customer production lines.

Troubleshoot & Service

Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems. Perform preventative maintenance and emergency service visits. Communicate clearly with customers on-site and remotely.

Program & Support

Load, modify, and support PLC programs (Automation Studio experience is a plus). Set up and test HMI interfaces. Support remote diagnostics using tools like Secomea.

Customer Support & Documentation

Document service work, system changes, and recommendations. Train operators and maintenance teams when needed. Represent Moldpro with professionalism and a commitment to doing the job right.

What We're Looking For

3+ years in industrial service, automation, or controls. Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills. Experience with PLCs (B&R, Allen-Bradley, Siemens, etc.). Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet/IP, Powerlink, X2X). Comfortable working independently in the field while communicating clearly with the team. Calm under pressure, organized, and takes pride in clean, professional installs.

Requirements

Valid Ontario Driver's License and reliable vehicle. Valid Canadian Passport (or eligibility to travel to the US). Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in industrial environments. Willingness to travel, including overnight and extended stays.

Pay: $35.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 44 per week
