Burckhardt Compression (Canada) Inc. (BCCA) is looking for a highly motivated parts professional to join our team as a
Parts Coordinator
supporting both the upstream and downstream in our aftermarket services division. In addition, to the requisite skills and experience, the ideal candidate will be responsible for delivering customer service excellence which is measured by meeting or exceeding customer delivery expectations, managing effective inventories and the timely and accurate completion of all documents and procedures required by the customer.
Reports to the Repair & Manufacturing Manager, this position will be based in Edmonton, AB and will be responsible for supporting the Parts and Inventory departments in Canada.
Key Responsibilities
:
Provide exceptional customer service to achieve 100% customer satisfaction.
Maintain professional, timely, and accurate communication with customers.
Prioritize activities to maximize customer satisfaction and profitability.
Accurately fulfill customer orders in accordance with internal processes.
Comply with all OH&S and Quality program requirements.
Order fulfillment & Inventory Management.
Customer Support and Logistics Coordination.
Other duties as assigned.
Education
:
Journeyman Parts Technician.
Skills/Qualifications:
These skills are required:
3-5 years of experience in purchasing or customer service.
Understanding of RFIs and RFQs.
Exceptional communicator and customer service oriented with good interpersonal skills an ability to adjust to various personality types.
Proven attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills and ability to prioritize effectively.
Must be a team player who is willing to wear many hats and provide help where needed.
Effective written and oral communication skills.
Strong listening and clarification skills.
Analytical skills to break down complex issues and solve problems.
Maintains composure in dealing with difficult situations; demonstrates positive customer service attitude.
Proficient in English.
These skills are considered an asset:
Previous experience with rotating equipment is an asset.
Strong technical knowledge of compressors and components such as valves, packings etc. Is desired.
Previous quoting experience required. Component repair and supply quoting experience would be an asset.
Strong Microsoft Office skills required, particularly Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel experience with SAP would be an asset.
Manufacturing or field experience is an asset.
