Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, this role is responsible for, but not limited to the following:
Troubleshoot, diagnose and resolve equipment failures as well as perform periodic inspections of equipment and systems
Perform mechanical repair & maintenance activities throughout the plant on equipment and facilities
Motors, hydraulics & pneumatic systems, bearings & gearboxes. Water heating and cooling systems
Reading blueprints and schematics. Equipment installations & rigging
Utilize Root Cause Analysis and Continuous Improvement to maximize equipment output and processes
Execute preventative maintenance activities including troubleshooting and repairs to all production equipment, hydraulic systems and pumps in a timely manner
Utilize the computerized maintenance management system for processing work orders, PM\'s and updating the equipment databases
Support divisional and corporate objectives including health & safety, productivity, continuous improvement, innovation, quality, and waste

Qualifications
Certified Industrial Millwright 433A (Red Seal ticket)
2 -3 years of work experience preferably in a manufacturing environment
Exceptional mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Energetic and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work as part of an interdisciplinary team
Excellent communication, interpersonal and organizational skills
Knowledgeable of the Occupational Health and Safety Act and possesses a strong safety focus
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance management software
Available and flexible to work in a fast paced environment, be self-driven to meet or exceed targets and work a flexible schedule that includes planned, unplanned and on-call shifts
Experience with electronics & PLCs. AC & DC motors and controls an asset.
Ability to operate specialized vehicles such as forklifts, scissor lifts, etc.
Physically fit & able to negotiate inclines, stairs and ladders
Able to perform physically demanding activities while working in all types of extreme hot environments, both indoors and outdoors.
The job requires bending, kneeling, crawling, stooping, and standing for long periods of time.
Must be physically able to push, pull, and lift 40 lbs. Working in conditions may include exposure to noise, dust.
