About the Role
We are looking for a skilled
Industrial Mechanic
to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate is hands-on, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This position involves installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of various industrial systems.Key Responsibilities
Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of plant equipment. Work with
high-pressure steam systems
. Handleelectrical, pneumatic systems, cooling towers, and steam lines
. Conductpreventive maintenance
and ensure equipment reliability. Executewelding tasks
and mechanical repairs. Manageparts purchasing
and inventory. Participate inprocess improvement initiatives
. Diagnose and resolve technical issues under pressure. Support continuous improvement and operational efficiency.Qualifications
Minimum 5 years of experience
in a manufacturing environment. Experience withhigh-pressure steam systems
. Knowledge offixed machinery mechanics (Class 4 license is an asset)
. Familiarity withpolystyrene equipment
is a plus. Strong skills inelectricity, pneumatics, and welding
. Ability to work independently and demonstrate an entrepreneurial mindset. Analytical and problem-solving skills; calm under pressure. "Go-getter" attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. Would ideally be able to travel toMontreal for a 2-week training
