We are looking for a talented, experienced, dedicated

Industrial Mechanic/Boiler/Chiller Technician.



As an important member of maintenance team, the primary responsibilities are to support the Company's production activities providing technical support by maintaining, repairing, setting-up, cleaning, performing machine adjustments and operating all mechanical equipment pertaining to production equipment including but not limited to packaging equipment and is responsible for mechanical performance of the production lines.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES



Assist with line set up as needed. Respond to calls during the shift to fix or adjust production equipment. Conduct preventative maintenance as scheduled. Diagnose mechanical problems, provide quick and innovative solutions. Assist in the installation of production equipment and improvements to equipment. Complying with safe lock-out procedures, impact assessment of any repair and repair work order documents. Monitor and advise management and mechanic lead-hand regarding low stock for critical spare parts and consumable inventory items. Design and execute continuous improvement projects with a focus on improving safety, quality, and efficiency. Complete GMP documents right first time in batch records and other relevant GMP documents.

REQUIREMENTS



Knowledge of boilers and pressure vessels with high and low pressures. Water treatment knowledge Good knowledge of pneumatic system Must have basic electrical knowledge. Must have chiller and refrigeration experience. Ability to weld and fabricate is an asset. Solid troubleshooting capability. Excellent knowledge of Health & Safety, Lock-out/Tag-out procedures. Industrial Millwright license is required combined with a minimum of (5) five years of experience working in a similar role from a pharmaceutical, food and beverage Minimum Grade 12 education or equivalent. Preference for candidates possessing a second license, especially an Industrial Electrician's license. Excellent mechanical aptitude. Excellent math skills. Excellent command of the English language. Strong written and oral communication skills with ability to interact with all shop floor Knowledge of food safety and security while working in compliance with all GMP, food and safety policies, and HACAHP regulations.
