Your job will be entirely at our headquarters in Salmon Arm, BC. We start you at

$30.00

per hour on a full-time basis; overtime as required.

You get two weeks of vacation each year and can be taken on an earned basis. Any vacation requests must first be approved by the

Maintenance and Plant Expansion Manager

.

If you do successfully complete the 90-day probation period, we welcome you to participate in the Extended Health Benefit Plan. This plan is 100% funded by Dinoflex so there is no cost to you.

You are entitled to five paid sick days per calendar year as per provincial regulations.

Your mission is to complete Maintenance tickets with a strong focus on quality. This requires accurately following the directions from the Maintenance and Plant Expansion Manager, operating your own tools, and being willing to learn new repair and maintenance tasks. Above all, you must do this with a Safety Above All attitude and approach.

You will be assessed on these objectives:

Completing daily Maintenance Tickets with minimal supervision.

Proven ability to troubleshoot HMI, PLC, and CNC controlled computer systems for diagnoses and fixes including precision machinery.

Participate in equipment optimization initiatives and installing new equipment.

Install, maintain, and repair manufacturing equipment and mechanical systems, including conveyors, presses, and automated machinery.

Maintaining a clean and organized production facility.

Perform cutting, grinding, fabricating and welding as required.

Conduct preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and inspections to identify wear, misalignment, or potential failures, ensuring minimal unplanned downtime.

Assisting the Maintenance and Plant Expansion Manager with various tasks as assigned.

Collaborate with production and operations teams to optimize equipment performance and implement process improvements.
