Job Description

Whitemud Resources Inc. is looking for a reliable and highly motivated individual who has a great work ethic and enjoys working in a team-focused environment. Reporting to the Plant Manager, this position will ensure the plant and equipment are kept in good condition and running efficiently.

Responsibilities:

Installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery and equipment Repair and/or partner with vendors on defective machine parts Performing routine and preventative maintenance on machinery Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities Applying mechanical repair principles and procedures to ensure machinery functions properly Assembling and disassembling machinery using the appropriate tools Performing diagnostic test on functioning machinery Troubleshooting issues with machinery and equipment Adjusting machinery when necessary to support a high-volume production environment Operating various tools and equipment Assist in maintaining an accurate inventory of parts Adhere to all company policies, procedures, including safety, and quality requirements

Requirements:

High school diploma Welding experience would be an asset Relevant licenses and certificates (welder, millwright, electrical) may be required Courses in mechanical drawing, woodworking, electricity, and blueprint reading, would be advantageous Repair work experience Proficiency with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
