We're searching for a dedicated and highly skilled Industrial Mechanic to join our team. This isn't just about fixing things; it's about being a critical part of our success, maintaining high standards, and ensuring our operations run flawlessly.

Please note:

This is an on-call position, requiring flexibility and responsiveness for vacation coverage, call-ins, and urgent needs outside of regular hours.

What You'll Do:

As our Industrial Mechanic, you'll be at the heart of our production, ensuring everything runs like a well-oiled machine. Your key responsibilities will include:

Keeping things running:

Performing essential daily maintenance, safety checks, and swift repairs on a variety of equipment and tools.

Precision work:

Setting up, operating, and maintaining diverse machine tools, including CNC equipment, to perform precision machining operations (sawing, turning, milling, grinding, etc.).

Assembly & Fabrication:

Skillfully fastening parts, cutting, drilling, and shaping materials, along with honing your fabricating and plumbing skills.

Troubleshooting Master:

Detecting equipment malfunctions, adjusting controls, and swiftly resolving machining or quality issues to minimize downtime.

Quality & Safety Champion:

Ensuring all work meets production schedules, safety regulations, and the highest quality standards, while always using required PPE.

Proactive Maintenance:

Maintaining and repairing machinery and closely monitoring equipment for any signs of problems.

Responding to Needs:

Promptly addressing a wide range of facilities and maintenance requests.

Team Collaboration:

Communicating effectively with stakeholders and your team to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.

What You'll Bring:

We're looking for a professional who is not only technically brilliant but also possesses a strong intrinsic drive and a positive attitude.

Licensed Electrician, Millwright Journeyperson or third-term apprentice. Previous experience with high-speed packaging equipment is highly valued. Strong knowledge of appropriate materials, methods, and tools for various assembly processes. Proficiency in electrical knowledge, pneumatics, and hydraulics. Excellent troubleshooting skills and the ability to read blueprints and drawings. A proven ability to operate equipment safely and responsibly. Strong verbal and written communication skills. The physical ability to lift heavy objects, walk, and stand for extended periods. Demonstrated ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands. Experience operating material-handling equipment.
